Welcoming New UFLAC Director Dennis Garrison

Brothers and Sisters,

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dennis Garrison to fill the vacant Director position on the UFLAC Executive Board.

Dennis has earned this opportunity through years of service as an engaged steward, his commitment to our members, and his willingness to step forward. Like our other recent additions to the Board, he brings demonstrated involvement and a dedication to making our union stronger. His contributions include:

Serving as an active and engaged UFLAC steward for several years.

• Attending several union leadership training events.
• Assisting with our ballot measure campaign.
• Speaking up about pay issues and workers’ compensation concerns affecting our members.
• Advocating for transparent communication and clear information for the membership.

As Director, Dennis will focus on helping members understand and address pay discrepancies and workers’ compensation issues. His goal is to make these processes easier to navigate, identify recurring problems, and work toward resolving them.

Dennis understands that serving on the Executive Board carries a responsibility to represent, advocate for, and remain accountable to the membership. His involvement and willingness to tackle the issues our members face have prepared him for this role.
