YES ON MEASURE FD UPDATE
UFLAC Launches “Changes” Digital Ad Campaign Citywide
Today the Yes on Measure FD campaign launched our second campaign video across the City of Los Angeles. “Changes” highlights LA’s tremendous growth since the 1960s, while the LAFD has remained stagnant over that same period.

Additionally, as most of you are aware by now, the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) has chosen to OPPOSE Measure FD and announced that they will be spending millions of dollars to campaign against our measure, which the LA Times reported on yesterday.
Fortunately, our latest polling shows that Measure FD is gaining ground, and our favorability numbers are rising. We’re in a strong position heading into November, but a well-funded opposition means we can’t take anything for granted. Ensuring Measure FD’s passage will require extra money and effort from all of us.
There are 27 days left until Election Day, and we’re asking each of you to step up and do your part. There are many ways to help between now and the November 3rd election. Here are some of the upcoming opportunities:
10/11 – Westchester Literature Drop – 8am to 11am
10/17 – Taste of Soul (Crenshaw) – 12pm to 7pm
10/18 – Sherman Oaks Street Fair – 10am to 6pm
10/24 – North Valley Literature Drop – 11am to 2pm
10/25 – Highland Park Literature Drop – 8am to 12pm
10/31 – Halloween Events – 10am to 2pm
11/01 – Day of the Dead Festival (West Adams) – 11am to 5pm
In Solidarity,
