RECALLS: LETTER TO CHIEF MOORE
As all members are well aware, the communication and implementation of the Phase 2 recall from October 15th – October 17th was inconsistent, unclear, and likely a violation of fair labor standards with a failure to meet and confer.
UFLAC made our concerns clear in Member Bulletin 91-26 sent on October 17th.
Since that time, UFLAC Secretary Ryan Quigley attended the October 20th Board of Fire Commissioners meeting and gave public comment outlining our concerns. To view a clip of Secretary Quigley speaking at the Fire Commission, please click HERE.
On Thursday, October 22nd, UFLAC sent a formal letter to Fire Chief Moore and copied the Fire Commissioners and members of the LA City Council Public Safety Committee.
