Benefits Notice 26-03

A message from your UFLAC Benefits Trustees: Reminder to all UFLAC members and retirees – Open Enrollment will be ending October 31, so don’t wait to enroll in or make changes to your UFLAC benefits. The benefits you select and changes you make to your coverage will be effective January 1, 2027. This is your only opportunity to change plans and add or remove dependents from coverage unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event.

HAVE YOU ENTERED OUR RAFFLE?

• Feeling Lucky? All members who review their benefits during Open Enrollment will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card!
• To enter, login at www.uflacbenefitenrollment.com and click “Start Here” at the top of the screen. Walk through the Open Enrollment screens and make changes, as applicable. Make sure to update your beneficiaries!
• Once you receive a confirmation number, you will be entered into the raffle!

While on the benefits website, be sure to consider the savings and plan design enhancements that will be available to you and your family effective January 1, 2027, including, but not limited to:

• Medical: No major changes to plan designs; cover the entire family under our Anthem Blue Cross HSA-eligible PPO medical plan for no cost out of your paycheck and up to $3,600/year into your Health Savings Account (HSA)
• Dental: No changes to plan designs and savings for members and their families
• Life/AD&D: Enhancements to plan designs and savings for members and their families
  • Be sure to review your beneficiaries and enrolled dependents 
• Voluntary Plans: No changes to plan designs and savings for members enrolled in the MetLife Critical Illness and/or Accident plans
